NEW

U12 LEAGUE STRUCTURE 2015 OUTDOOR

As voted on at the January Technical Meeting

In order to come more in line with the Canadian Soccer Association and Alberta Soccer Associations Long Term Player Development Model, CASA has adopted the following U12 League Structure effective for the 2015 Outdoor Season

10 game Season – (currently 12 to 14 League games + 2-4-SunBreaker Games/2-4 Qualifier games). (Tournament games will still be a part of this structure)

Extra training with Technical Director at beginning of the season. All players and coaches of teams should be in attendance. These training sessions will begin one week prior to the Season start date of May 1st – SunBreaker and continuing through the first two weeks of the season where only one game per week will be scheduled. Training sessions will be set up as follows – The Technical Director will organize group training sessions to include more than one community so that all can be covered within the given time frame. Coaches will also be expected to continue with extra practices. This will make the program stronger overall and become further in line with the CSA and ASA Long Term Player Development Model.
